Straightjacket of Happiness

One moment I'm broken and then I'm just fine. Grown ups telling me, my age is such a fine time. Ignore each bit of drama, every little lie. Lost in the puzzle of a teenage mind.

Secure the future, planing my attitudes. Face responsibility, improving all I do. Is something wrong with me, do I lack the tools. Gotta deal with a mind of a teenage fool.

Frayed jeans as ever, dirty Converse will do. Grown tall, but in my heart, still feel like a fool. Meet great expectations, while I'm in a mess. It's a straightjacket of happiness.

Just can't describe how, I'm not like the rest. Try to keep my head up, such confusing mess. Wanna breath real deeply, I'd wanna be set free. Lost in the puzzle of a teenage dream.

I changed so much now, in nearly everything. No return to old days though, long to the feeling. Pressure on my shoulders, to make it in life. No one seems to see the teenage strife.

Frayed jeans as ever, dirty Converse will do. Grown tall, but in my heart, still feel like a fool. Meet great expectations, while I'm in a mess. It's a straightjacket of happiness.

Stress about passing classes, go for A or less. Being young isn't everything, as my friend says. Ain't it just a brainwash, do I care what's ahead. Gotta deal with a soul in a teenage dread.

Seems like a brainwash, do I care what's ahead. Gotta deal with a soul in a teenage dread

It's just a brainwash, don't care what's ahead. Now I really gotta deal with a teenage dread
